The Rangers' bullpen took a hit Monday with veteran right-hander Chris Martin expected to miss four to six weeks because of a left calf strain, manager Bruce Bochy said.

Chris Martin signs one-year contract with Texas Rangers
Veteran reliever Chris Martin, 38, who went 3-1 with a 3.45 ERA in 45 relief appearances for the Boston Red Sox last season, signed a one-year contract with his hometown Texas Rangers on Monday night, returning to a team he pitched for in 2018 and 2019.
