Double-Double

The five eligible categories are points, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks. Points and rebounds is the most common pairing, followed by points and assists.

A triple-double extends the same idea to three categories, and a quadruple-double — four — is one of the rarest events in the sport.

Double-doubles matter beyond the milestone because they are a compact signal of usage and role. A player producing them consistently is being trusted with minutes and touches, which is exactly what prop and fantasy markets price.
